No lodging is not included but we will have a hotel block discount available for the Hyatt Place TCU using corporate or group code: G-UNBR and there are many other hotels in the area.

No, if you are close enough to drive in each day, you are welcome to commute. We do recommend trying to get a group together of women to stay together and making it a “girls jiu-jitsu trip.”

There is ample parking at Hyatt Place TCU.  Overnight parking for overnight guests is only $18 per day; hourly parking is $3/hr. for drive in guests.

No, we will not have childcare. The founders have 7 children between us, we know the challenges of training with our children or finding someone to watch them. We believe this time away from your children will be valuable to you. It will be refreshing and fun and help you come back to them encouraged and more able to focus on their needs because your needs have been met.

Yes, there is laundry onsite. Due to a tight schedule,  we recommend bringing enough clothing and gear for the entire camp.

Conversation and laughter shared around the table with a full meal with our black belt instructors and special guests. This add-on gives you a cozy, small-group lunch where you can ask your burning questions, swap stories, and connect beyond the mats. It’s relaxed, fun, and designed to feel like you’re just hanging out with the girls—except these girls happen to be world-class jiu-jitsu athletes. (Saturday Only)

Absolutely! At camp you will meet many new ladies that will be happy to be your drilling partner. Get ready to connect and make new friends!

Communication is the key.

Always ask: “Want to roll?” Never assume. Respect if someone says no.

Match intensity.

If you’re bigger or more experienced, focus on control and technique, not domination.

Respect taps instantly and release submissions immediately.

Clarify intensity before starting. (“light roll?” vs “competition pace?”)

Keep unsolicited coaching tips to a minimum.

Remember, the training room is for playful learning,

there will be no Unbreakable Medals or Podiums!

Yes.
